I'm Charmanie (pronounced Shar-mayne) or Char I grew up in a household where both my parents had artistic backgrounds in Oakland California. From a young age my artistic side was always highly encouraged and as an introvert I appreciated that so much. I drew, painted and even learned to crochet at the age of 5 from my great grandmother LuLu that I still practice. I collected rocks when I was a child after a field trip to Mt. Diablo in elementary school and believe that's where my love for gems, rocks, fossils and crystals sparked. I've had many bouts of jewelry making throughout my years, whether with beads or crochet but learning and practicing the art of wire wrapping with its amazing freedom and flow has been the most fascinating and I continue to deeply love it. I'm forever grateful for all of your support!
